Job summary

Ria Money Transfer, a global payments leader, is seeking a Customer Service Agent at our Phoenix location. You will process money transfers, money orders, and currency exchanges while ensuring accuracy and privacy.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional service to customers in person and balance cash at the register. You should be fluent in English and Spanish, adaptable to weekend shifts, and comfortable using MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Cash handling experience is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face-to-face to process all of Ria's products, including money transfers, money orders, and buying/selling foreign currency.
• Accurately verify or enter customer information into our systems.
• Assist customers courteously with inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations, or other Ria locations.
• Recognize and resolve problems, issues, or complaints during queries, or escalate them to the management team as needed.
• Stay up to date with Ria's products, services, and policies.
• Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare daily transaction records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by colleagues and superiors.
