Qualifications

• Experience processing workers’ compensation claims and insurance procedures.
• Expertise in investigating and documenting accidents, including utility hits.
• Proficient computer and email skills for handling reports and correspondence.
• Ability to manage PPE inventory and safety-related documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically fit to inspect job sites in varying weather.
• Current or ability to obtain relevant construction safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce a culture of safety on all job sites while maintaining productivity and practical solutions.
• Communicate fluently in English and Spanish with employees, subcontractors, and external parties.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance, provide coaching, and identify improvements.
• Investigate and thoroughly document accidents, property damage, and utility incidents with evidence.
• Manage and process workers’ compensation claims, including documentation and insurer coordination.
• Maintain records of PPE inventory, safety paperwork, training, and certification renewals.
• Handle insurance matters and claims as needed, ensuring requirements are followed to protect the company.
• Distinguish non-negotiable safety issues from those solvable with field-based solutions.
• Travel regularly between job sites; maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions; physically capable of walking/inspecting sites.
