Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate, dependable bilingual Russian caregiver to provide person-centered care in a home setting in New Jersey. The ideal candidate speaks Russian fluently, communicates well, and promotes the client’s comfort, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, companionship, meal support, light housekeeping, mobility aid, and clear reporting to the care team.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Russian with strong communication skills.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA/CNA/PCA certification preferred where applicable.
• Reliable, compassionate, patient and professional.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the care team.
• Communicate effectively with the client, family members and agency staff in speaking Russian.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
