Job summary

Polycorp U.S., LLC seeks an experienced Manufacturing Shift Manager for 3rd shift. The role oversees rubber production, from mixing to finishing, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for team leadership and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5 years in rubber manufacturing with supervisory experience, knowledge of ISO systems, and strong cost-control abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or rubber technology or a related field
• 5 years of rubber manufacturing experience in a supervisory/managerial role
• Strong knowledge of rubber processing: mixing, extrusion, molding, curing
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 or similar quality systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in production planning software and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all rubber manufacturing operations to ensure timely production and delivery
• Manage the entire production cycle including mixing, extrusion, molding, curing, and finishing
• Implement and maintain manufacturing best practices to ensure high-quality output and minimal waste
• Monitor and optimize plant performance through KPIs (efficiency, yield, downtime)
• Develop and lead a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE)
• Work with Quality Assurance and R&D for process improvement and new product development
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and cost-saving initiatives
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance programs
• Evaluate and implement new technologies or upgrades to improve productivity
• Coordinate with supply chain for raw material procurement and inventory control
