Job summary

Superior Metal Technologies in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a bilingual manufacturing shift team leader (Spanish/English) to supervise the anodize/paint shift, ensure safety, quality and productivity, and coordinate daily production with the team.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Spanish; training on 1st shift is available, with potential OT on weekends. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal finishing.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of production processes, safety standards, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Provide, supervise and coordinate daily production schedule for the shift.
• Maintain adequate manpower and staffing for the anodize/paint department.
• Monitor and improve quality, implement corrective actions as needed.
• Train, mentor and develop team members; provide coaching to improve efficiency.
• Maintain KPIs and production records, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
• Act as main point of contact for shift team and promote teamwork and safety.
