Summary: Serves customers by providing trusted banking advice, processing a variety of banking transactions, opening new accounts, and researching and resolving problems in a manner which promotes and maintains positive customer experiences and relationships. Promotes the Bank’s culture, including supporting our Brand promise and Core Values.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor by connecting people to their dreams through meaningful conversations and providing relevant banking advice.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Proficient with all required computer systems.
- Efficiently opens all retail products and services for customers.
- Ensures accuracy for new accounts and makes corrections as necessary.
- Suggests the correct products and services based on customer needs and desired outcomes.
- Ensures customers are informed and comfortable using our products and technologies.
- Follows through on referrals and refers business to our commercial, insurance, and investments partners.
- Seeks opportunities to develop new banking relationships from personal networks and the community.
- Follows all policies and procedures.
- Assists customers with service requests such as account research, safe deposit access, rate quotes, night deposit agreements, lost/stolen cards, and transaction disputes.
- Conducts transactions on behalf of customers.
- Collaborates with teams to complete bank projects.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred; minimum one year banking experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Internet, Outlook, Word, Excel; ability to learn bank-specific software.
Bank Culture/Customer Service Skills: Promotes bank’s culture and values; interacts appropriately with customers and colleagues; reflects superior customer relations.
Other Skills: Flexible; able to travel to banking centers as needed.
Physical Demands
Regularly talks or hears; frequently stands, walks, sits, uses hands; occasionally reaches, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches; can lift up to 25 pounds; required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and focus adjustment.
