Responsibilities

• Greets and assists customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Provides support to Frontend team in the absence of Frontend Manager.
• Operates front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Delivers care and compassion; maintains positive team relationships.
• Enforces standards for quality, cleanliness, store conditions, and food safety.
• Maintains presentation of work area, uniform and appearance of self and team.
• Uses POS and credit card systems; handles cash and balances drawers.
• Processes returns, refunds, overcharges, and credits.
• Schedules coverage for cashiers and courtesy clerks breaks.
• Completes beginning and end-of-shift procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
