Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is hiring a Utilities Clerk – 018 Houston-Kirby to support daily store operations, assist customers on the floor and on the produce shelves, bag groceries, and prepare orders.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, basic computer skills (Outlook), and good communication. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lb and work as part of a friendly team in a busy retail environment. Retail experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and product information.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer skills including PC and Outlook.
• Retail Management Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper maintenance of the store, especially in the Produce Department.
• Provide customer assistance on the store floor and on the produce shelf.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out requested orders.
• Retrieve and return store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs and maintain the checkout area.
• Remove waste from the parking area and keep the store clean and safe.
• Support other duties as assigned by the manager.
