Job summary

International SOS is seeking an Assistance Nurse for an office-based role in San Antonio, TX. This non-bedside position emphasizes clinical expertise to deliver timely medical support for travelers worldwide, coordinating care from your desk and ensuring safe, cost-effective outcomes for clients abroad.

You will manage medical cases, provide clinical guidance to patients and employers, and coordinate evacuations when needed.

Qualifications

• RN with acute care/ICU/emergency experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Experience in medical assistance or travel health is a plus
• BLS & ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Manage medical cases for travelers abroad.
• Provide clinical advice to patients, employers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate medical transportation, including evacuations and repatriations.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clients to ensure smooth case progression.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse with strong acute care, ICU, or emergency medicine experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Previous experience in medical assistance or travel health is a plus.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
