Job summary

Brighter Strides ABA, LLC in Santa Fe, NM seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.

You will document progress, communicate with families, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support clients with ADLs, promoting positive behavioral changes and improved quality of life.

Spanish-English bilingual is required; training is provided to become an RBT if not yet certified, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to support a Spanish-speaking client.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Monitor and document client progress in accordance with established care plans.
• Utilize medical terminology appropriately when communicating with team members.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Provide patient care by assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individual. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. This role is essential in providing support and education to clients and their families, promoting positive behavioral changes, and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
