Legacy Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistants (RDA) to support dentists chairside during restorative and oral surgery procedures, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

This full-time/temp assignment in Kern County, CA requires bilingual English/Spanish abilities, comfort with EHR and practice management systems, and adherence to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required.
• Proof of completion of a radiation safety course.
• Coronal polishing and sealants certificates preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to the operatory.
• Assist dentists chairside during dental and oral surgery procedures.
• Prepare materials, instruments, and equipment for treatments.
• Take dental X-rays and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control and a sterile environment.
• Review health histories and complete chart entries.
• Stock operatories and manage clinical supply inventory.
• Set up trays and tools per daily schedule.
• Assist with preventive equipment maintenance.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene.
• Support front office tasks as needed.
