Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a Bilingual Quality Manager for a precision manufacturing facility in Yorktown, IN. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish to communicate with customers in Mexico and partners across Spanish-speaking regions.

You will lead the Quality Management System (IATF 16949/ISO 9001), oversee quality across machining, assembly, and inspection, and drive continuous improvement while managing supplier quality and quality metrics. Direct hire, first shift.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing preferred.
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or quality-management experience.
• Strong background in automotive, machining, or assembly environments.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001; core quality tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Communicate with customers and partners in English and Spanish.
• Oversee quality across machining, assembly, and inspection.
• Serve as primary contact for customer quality concerns.
• Monitor Cp and Cpk; drive process improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone.
• Manage supplier quality including audits and corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Reduce scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality.
• Oversee inspection systems, calibration, and product validation.
• Track quality metrics: PPM, audits, supplier performance.
• Lead and develop quality team; cross-functional collaboration.

About the Opportunity

Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Bilingual Quality Manager for a well-established precision manufacturing facility in Yorktown, IN. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive or precision manufacturing, particularly within machining and assembly environments. Fluency in English and Spanish is a firm requirement for this position. This individual will regularly communicate with customers in Mexico and partner companies in other Spanish‑speaking countries regarding quality concerns, corrective actions, audits, and other technical matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Communicate with customers and partner companies in both English and Spanish
• Oversee quality across machining, assembly, and inspection processes
• Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns
• Monitor process capability, including Cp and Cpk, and implement improvements
• Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and other problem‑solving methods
• Manage supplier quality, including audits and corrective actions
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Reduce scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality
• Oversee inspection systems, calibration, and product validation
• Track and report quality metrics, including PPM, scrap, audits, and supplier performance
• Lead and develop quality team members while supporting cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of leadership or quality management experience
• Strong experience in automotive, machining, and/or assembly environments
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
• Experience with core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
• Experience with CNC machining, metal components, and in‑process inspection systems
• Strong root cause analysis, communication, and problem‑solving skills
