Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a Bilingual Quality Control Inspector (English-Spanish) for a full-time technical role in Conroe, TX. The inspector will oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring products meet specifications and customer requirements.

Strong documentation and measurement skills are essential to maintain quality records and drive improvements. The position requires 3+ years in quality control, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred experience in ductile/steel pipe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control.
• Ductile and/or steel pipe industry experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s or associate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify product quality against work orders.
• Document dimensional measurements using tapes and diameter tapes.
• Measure threads with thread micrometers including NPT threads.
• Report non-conforming product to Plant Manager for rework.
• Develop and enforce current quality control procedures.
• Verify orders meet sales order requirements before shipment.
• Identify quality improvement opportunities and implement new methods.

Bilingual Quality Control Inspector (Eng-Spa)

Full Time Technical Conroe, TX, US

Salary Range: $17.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Role and Responsibilities

The Bilingual(English-Spanish) Quality Control (QC) Inspector coordinates activities and enforces best-practices as it relates to the overall quality of our product and manufacturing process. The QC Inspector is responsible for receiving inspection of incoming materials, in-process inspections of product, and final inspection of outgoing customer shipments. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Visual receiving, in-process, and final inspection of product to ensure product conforms to work orders.
• Developing and maintaining inspection reports including recording actual dimensional measurements using measuring tapes and/or diameter tapes and comparing to work order requirements.
• Measuring male and female threads, including National Pipe Tapered (NPT) threads, using thread micrometers.
• Recording and reporting non-conforming product to the Plant Manager for rework.
• Developing, maintaining, and enforcing current quality control procedures.
• Verifying completed orders conform to sales order requirements before final shipment preparation.
• Identifying areas for quality control improvement and implementing new methods in coordination with the Plant Manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Minimum 3years’ experience required in a Quality Control field. Ductile and/or steel pipe industry experience is highly preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is an advantage.
• Proficient in using measuring hand tools including measuring tapes, diameter tapes, and thread micrometers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs including Word and Excel.
• Ability to develop and maintain records in an organized and efficient manner.
• Ability to work well with individuals in multiple departments and be detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and regard for quality standards.
• Ductile or steel pipe knowledge is an advantage.

• Pre-employment drug testing shall be required.
