Bilingual Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

Eduvention Mentoring & Consulting is a behavioral health practice dedicated to empowering individuals facing mental and behavioral health challenges through compassionate mentoring and consulting services. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality care to our clients and their families, offering a comprehensive range of services focused on exceptional mental health solutions and achieving the very best clinical outcomes. Join our dedicated team in making a positive impact on the lives of children with severe emotional disturbances and their families. We are currently looking for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHPs) who will utilize their skills to provide crucial guidance and support. We adopt a strengths-based model, empowering families to build resilience and develop the tools they need to thrive.

Your Role:
  1. Engage and Empower: Deliver weekly skills training and targeted case management services tailored to each child and family's needs. Ability to service clients face-to-face or virtually.
  2. Collaborative Care: Work closely with our clinical team to create personalized service/treatment plans that leverage strengths and address behavioral challenges.
  3. Resourceful Advocate: Assist families in navigating case management activities, connecting them with resources and support systems.
  4. Strength-Based Approach: Utilize your QMHP expertise to foster hope, confidence, and positive change.
  5. Although this is a remote position, the ideal candidate must be available to service clients in Houston, TX, as needed.
Responsibilities:

  2. Ethical Practice: Uphold all laws and policies, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  3. Protective Vigilance: Report suspected child abuse or neglect immediately.
  4. Build Connections: Establish meaningful relationships with clients, families, and team members.
  5. Professional Development: Complete required trainings, participate in meetings, and embrace additional responsibilities.
  6. Timely Documentation: Record data and notes within 24-48 hours.
  7. Individualized Plans: Develop Service and Crisis Plans within specified timelines.
  8. Skills Training: Implement evidence-based curricula to address behaviors.
  9. Teamwork: Facilitate team meetings and monitor progress.
  10. Productivity and Caseload: Maintain a caseload of 8-20 clients and provide 20-30+ billable hours weekly.
  11. Community-Based Services: Conduct face-to-face meetings in various settings.
  12. Progress Monitoring: Attend meetings and inform families and team members of progress.
  13. Family Engagement: Encourage family participation in therapy.
  14. Resource Navigation: Help families access financial and support services.
  15. Accurate Records: Maintain thorough documentation per Texas regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor’s in Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, or related; Master’s preferred.
  2. QMHP Status: Active or willing to obtain.
  3. Experience: Prior experience in behavior support is desirable.
  4. Passion: Strong commitment to working with children with emotional disturbances.
  5. Communication: Excellent bilingual skills in Spanish.
  6. Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  7. Empathy: Genuine understanding and compassion.
Compensation:

$20-$27 per billable hour. This is an independent contractor position (1099).
