Job summary

The Association for Individual Development in Highland-Aurora, IL is seeking a bilingual Therapist QMHP BH to provide case management and counseling services to clients with persistent mental illness, translating into Spanish as needed.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans using IM+CANS, thorough documentation, and promoting client wellness through counseling and referrals in home, community, or office settings; some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human service field is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health is preferred.
• Fluent verbal and written Spanish and English is required.
• Proficient with IM+CANS and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and counseling services to clients with persistent mental illness; translate into Spanish when needed.
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans using IM+CANS to maximize independent living skills.
• Complete documentation of mental health services per state and agency standards.
• Promote client wellness through counseling, coaching, and referral services.
• Deliver counseling in home, community, or office settings; attend evening hours as required.
