Job summary

The Village Life Center Texas is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to deliver targeted case management and behavioral health services in-home, in-school, in-community and virtually. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and fluency in Spanish to serve clients who speak only Spanish.

Responsibilities include therapeutic interventions, skill-building, crisis support as needed, and collaboration with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
• Must be fluent in Spanish to communicate with clients who only speak Spanish.
• Must have insured vehicle, cell phone and access to a computer/laptop outside of office use.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, in-school, in-community and virtual behavioral mental health services.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve client functioning and interactions.
• Assist clients in developing social and interpersonal skills and daily living skills.
• Identify and build support networks and coping strategies.
• Complete CANS/ANSA assessments and update treatment plans.
• Maintain caseload and communicate client status regularly to the treatment team.
