Job summary

Cooler Master USA is seeking a full-time QA/QC Engineer in Katy, TX to oversee product quality from development through production. The role emphasizes failure analysis and RMA investigations, acting as a bridge between local and Asia-based engineering teams.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred. The engineer will diagnose defects, perform root cause analysis, and communicate engineering changes to ensure quality across local and global supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality management.
• 3+ years of QA/QC in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of UL/IEC 60950/62368 preferred.
• ISO 9001, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC knowledge.
• Experience with inspection techniques and measurement equipment.
• ASQ or Six Sigma certification a plus.
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA processes to ensure product quality during development.
• Support FA from RMA and address client issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and process audits to identify issues early.
• Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Lead QC inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain records of tests, inspections, and non-conformances.
• Drive quality improvements and CAPA actions.
• Communicate adjustments to Asia-based teams.
