Job summary

Golden Bear Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a front desk assistant in Fresno, CA. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and support therapists with intake forms and payments.

Requires a High School diploma, strong customer service, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Raintree PMS is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related health field preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Welcomes and assists patients into treatment attire and spaces.
• Assist with laundry and maintain linen supply.
• Record daily notes under supervision and with co-signature by PT.
• Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests.
• Assist in applying ice/heat, guiding patients to equipment, and supervising exercises.
• Educate patients on equipment use and exercise routines.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure patient information.
• Keep the work environment clean and comply with rules.
• Sterilize and deliver equipment; position equipment for therapist access.
• Ensure PT equipment operates with preventive maintenance.
• Manage inventory and communicate orders as needed.
• Demonstrate ownership and team spirit to add value.
• Triage calls and ensure five-star patient experience; assist with appointments and intake forms.
• Assist in scheduling new evaluations; collect co-pays prior to visits.
• Support front desk during uncovered hours with check-ins and scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
