Job summary

NYNJ Psychiatric Associates in Queens, NY, is seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatry (Mandarin and/or Korean speaking) to provide medication management and supportive psychotherapy at facilities throughout NY & NJ. The role focuses on geriatric psychiatry with extensive team collaboration.

You will perform initial evaluations and follow-up visits onsite, while leveraging streamlined documentation and strong clinical staff support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York NP license
• PMHNP certification
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Interest in geriatric psychiatry and long-term care
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Korean

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up visits onsite
• Manage psychiatric medication and supportive psychotherapy
• Collaborate with primary care, psychologists, nursing staff and facility teams
