Job summary

Ambo Properties in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced, bilingual Property Manager to take full ownership of on-site operations, team leadership, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years of property management experience, strong budgeting, leasing, vendor management, and a hands-on approach to maintenance and compliance. You will lead a on-site team, drive occupancy and financial performance, and uphold Fair Housing standards while delivering exceptional resident service.

Qualifications

• Familiar with leasing practices, budgeting, rent collections, and vendor management
• Familiar with Yardi, RealPage, Remote Landlord, or similar property management software
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and local landlord-tenant laws
• Ability to work some weekends and respond to emergencies as needed

Responsibilities

• Resident Relations: Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with residents
• Property Maintenance: Coordinate regular property inspections, repairs, and upgrades
• Leasing & Marketing: Oversee the leasing process, show units, screen applicants, and execute leases, support occupancy goals through marketing
• Financial Management: Manage the property budget, monitor expenses, collect rent, and maintain records
• Staff Leadership: Supervise maintenance and on-site staff, provide ongoing training and support
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with regulations and uphold policies and standards
• Vendor Management: Coordinate third-party vendors and monitor contracts
• Move-In/Move-Out Management: Manage turnover, conduct final inspections, and handle security deposits

About the Role: Property Manager
We’re seeking anexperienced, self-motivated Bilingual Property Managerwho’s ready to take full ownership of operations, team leadership, and resident satisfaction. This is acritical leadership roleresponsible for overseeing day-to-day performance, meeting occupancy and financial goals, and cultivating a high-performing on-site team.

The ideal candidate will bring2+ years of experience, strong operational knowledge, Bilingual, and the ability to lead with confidence and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Relations

• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with residents

• Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professional

Property Maintenance

• Coordinate regular property inspections, repairs, and upgrades

• Ensure all maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficiently

Leasing & Marketing

• Oversee the leasing process: show units, screen applicants, and execute leases

• Support occupancy goals through creative marketing and outreach strategies

Financial Management

• Manage the property budget, monitor expenses, and meet financial targets

• Collect rent, minimize delinquencies, and maintain accurate records

Staff Leadership

• Supervise maintenance and on-site staff, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing training and support

• Foster a strong team culture focused on accountability and results

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing laws

• Uphold Ambo’s policies, procedures, and quality standards

Vendor Management

• Coordinate third-party vendors for maintenance and repairs

• Monitor performance and manage vendor contracts

Move-In/Move-Out Management

• Manage turnover process to ensure units are clean, repaired, and ready for new residents

• Conduct final inspections and manage security deposit processing

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of property management experience and Bilingual (Required)

• Proven ability to lead teams, meet goals, and solve problems efficiently

• Deep understanding of leasing practices, budgeting, rent collections, and vendor management

• Familiar withYardi, RealPage, Remote Landlord, or similar property management software

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

• Knowledge ofFair Housing Lawsand state/local landlord-tenant laws

• Must be able to work some weekends and respond to emergency issues as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk the property daily and perform inspections

• Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

• Tasks may require kneeling, bending, and stair climbing
