JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to our Pull-A-Part store location, your responsibilities will include:

  • Focusing on "Safety First" and "Environmental Stewardship" by adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Performing daily tasks with a positive attitude aligned with our core values: Respect, Help, Learn & Grow
  • Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the facility and work area
  • Providing friendly, helpful, and professional customer service
  • Following the Company Playbook, including policies, safety guidelines, and SOPs
  • Wearing appropriate dress code and PPE
  • Inspecting equipment and tools daily, reporting defects or repairs needed
  • Performing general maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed
  • Operating hand tools and fixed equipment such as air compressors, hydraulic shears, etc.
  • Operating industrial equipment (if trained), including loaders, forklifts, crushers
  • Preparing vehicles for processing by removing trash and auto parts
  • Safely removing vehicle fluids, electrical components, catalytic converters, etc.
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly secured during transport and dismantling
  • Cleaning tools daily and organizing inventory
  • Meeting personal and team performance goals
  • Working production hours, possibly including overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Learning new skills, assisting teammates, and completing other salvage and recycling tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Commitment to friendly, helpful, customer service
  • Basic automotive mechanic knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of auto parts
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile devices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work safely with minimal supervision
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 50 lbs, and stretch
  • Reliable transportation
  • Preferred: Maintenance experience on heavy equipment like loaders, hydraulics, forklifts
