Job summary

Lake Country Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Production Lead to help employees understand our procedures and policies, ensuring consistent production quality. This role requires fluent English and Spanish.

You will partner with area leaders to train staff, translate questions confidentially, and ensure SOPs are clearly understood. You will also support training via video explanations for new equipment and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with area leaders and supervisors to train employees on processes and best practices.

• Explain SOPs on video for training when new equipment is added.
• Maintain quality standards across production and shipping.

• Communicate safety standards and verify employee understanding.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement.
• Learn machine operation to improve training effectiveness.

Position Summary

The Bilingual Production Lead is responsible for assisting employees, to ensure they know and understand our procedures and policies and ensure consistent production quality. This role requires strong communication in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with area leaders and supervisors to train employees on processes and best practices.
• Support Production, Shipping, and Human Resources with personnel matters by translating questions and guidance while maintaining confidentiality.
• Work with supervisors and employees to ensure instructions and SOPs are clearly understood.
• Be willing and able to appear on camera to explain SOPs for video-based training as new equipment is added.
• Help maintain established quality standards across production and shipping.
• Monitor production quality across work areas through regular floor observations.
• Help resolve issues and implement process improvements.
• Support HR in maintaining shop safety by clearly communicating LCM safety standards and confirming employee understanding.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work directly in manufacturing processes between staff-support duties to learn how each machine operates and improve training effectiveness.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional postsecondary education is preferred.

Shift:

• 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (8 hours, Monday–Friday)

Pay

$22–$26 per hour, based on experience and interview performance

Reporting to: Plant Supervisor
