Job summary

Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics in Dalton, GA seeks a PRN Medical Assistant to join our Dalton and Chattanooga team. Must travel between offices and be bilingual English/Spanish; experience preferred.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, documenting history in EMR, assisting with X-rays, maintaining a clean environment, dispensing medications, and serving as a liaison between providers and patients. Travel between locations is required; willingness to learn a must.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English/Spanish; written and verbal preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of professional experience.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and room patients
• Accurately take a patient history and document it in EMR
• Perform X-rays as directed by the provider (we'll teach)
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Dispense medication as instructed by the provider
• Act as a liaison between providers and patients
