Job summary

The Puerto Rican Action Board (PRAB) is a Newark/ Central New Jersey-based nonprofit providing bilingual and multicultural services. We seek a dedicated Teacher to implement NJ preschool standards, use approved curriculum, and support the Site Director in coordinating EC activities.

Qualified candidates hold a NJ P–3 teaching certificate and a 4-year degree, with preference for those who are bilingual in Spanish and English and have prior preschool experience in urban settings.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education or a related field with at least 7 - 12 credits in Child Development/Early Childhood Education.
• New JerseyP – 3Teacher Certification
• Experience working with low-income/urban population.
• Two years of experience as a full-time preschool teacher preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

• Attend on Staff Meetings as well as other required meetings.
• Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Site Director of Senior Director of Early Childhood Programs.
