Job summary

Clarvida in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist to provide individual, group, family and couples counseling, aiming to enhance client independence and family empowerment. The role is on-site, full-time, with a sign-on bonus.

Must be bilingual Spanish; requires a Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, valid associate license, at least two years’ mental health experience, and a CA driver’s license with active auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited school.
• Valid Registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with mental health patients (inpatient and outpatient)
• Valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, family and couples counseling services to assist individuals in achieving more effective personal, social, education and vocational development and adjustment.
• Collaborate with care teams to maximize client independence and family empowerment.
• Deliver services in Bakersfield, CA on-site and within program guidelines.
