Job summary

Framingham Public Schools seeks a Dual Language Portuguese Elementary Teacher to lead language instruction and support student achievement across the district’s elementary schools. The teacher will implement evidence-based practices, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with special education, ESL, and mental health staff to promote an inclusive, equity-centered learning environment.

Qualifications include a Massachusetts teaching license with bilingual endorsement and a strong commitment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Massachusetts teaching license with bilingual endorsement required or equivalent license.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality instruction to diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Design a comprehensive program of study aligned with MA frameworks and district goals.
• Deliver high-quality instruction using research-based practices to achieve grade-level proficiency.
• Utilize UDL to facilitate active learning and provide multiple entry points.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions for students with IEPs/ELLs.
• Collaborate with PLCs and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
