Agile Occupational Medicine in California is seeking a Physical Therapist Technician to support Physical Therapists and Assistants in delivering quality patient care. Under supervision, you’ll help with patient intake, preparation, observation, and documentation, plus clinic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with exercises, educating patients on treatments, and scheduling/admin duties. Bilingual Spanish is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.

Mansioni

• Supporting Physical Therapists in preparing treatment area, equipment, and materials for patient care.
• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, providing and/or assisting patient into physical therapy apparel or apertures.
• Under the direction of the Physical Therapists, assisting patients with exercises (in addition to walking, sitting, standing, etc.), helping with transfers, and providing support during treatments.
• Educating patients regarding physical therapy treatments and exercises, including proper use of equipment.
• Observing patients performing prescribed physical exercises and immediately reporting concerns.
• Documenting patients' responses to treatment and updating patient files.
• Performing basic prescribed treatments such as applying ice packs or heat pads as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, ensuring clinic is in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
• Performing administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments as necessary.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
