Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 1 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with proper technique.
• Label specimens, centrifuge, and store according to procedures.
• Update patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperature control.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
• Answer calls and report lab results as needed.
