Job summary

Labcorp in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a bilingual English-Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team. The role requires blood collection, data entry, billing support, and excellent patient service. Schedule is Monday through Friday 2:00pm–6:30pm, with Saturday shifts as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, or phlebotomy training/certification. Preferred candidates have 1+ year phlebotomy experience and bilingual skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
