Maxor National Pharmacy Services is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the Community Health Network Pharmacy in Long Island City, NY. This is a full-time role requiring bilingual Spanish skills and strong customer service, with duties including processing new medication orders, insurance coordination, copays, and data entry in the pharmacy system.

The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinic-based setting.

Qualifications

• BILINGUAL SPANISH A PLUS.
• Current PTCB Certification is preferred.
• 2+ years retail pharmacy experience preferred with the ability to multi task and work independently.
• Start Up pharmacy experience a plus.
• Computer experience mandatory.
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and take prescription orders.
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers.
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked.
• Answer the phone.
• Input customer information into the computer system.
