Legacy Community Health in Pasadena, TX, seeks a bilingual Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team. You will assist pharmacists in preparing, filling, and delivering medications while maintaining safe, accurate operations.

You will support daily workflow, ensure timely insurance processes, and contribute to patient counseling, inventory management, and adherence initiatives. Candidates should have a PTCB certificate, TX Board registration, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current PTCB certificate.
• Must be registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be able to pass a math test pertinent to retail pharmacy activities.
• Must maintain BLS/CPR and required certifications.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist in ensuring the appropriateness of medication doses by obtaining and entering patient information as necessary.
• Ensure the patient receives correct medication by using appropriate dispensing procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of medication and supplies and use proper filling techniques.
• Ensure insurance adjudication and pre-authorizations are processed promptly.
• Complete and document daily/monthly activity checklists, including expired drug checks and area inspections.
• Provide counseling to patients and document refusals when applicable.
• Communicate with physicians' offices or insurance companies as required.
• Participate in education and training of new employees and organizational initiatives.
