Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions or refill requests and verify information.
• Prepack medicines, fill bottles and attach labels.
• Answer telephones and respond to questions or requests.
• Maintain proper drug storage and security conditions.
• Assist customers and refer to the pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Responsible for inventory management.
• Follow hospital and pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Ensure orders are managed within established guidelines.
• Interact with staff and internal/external customers at various levels.
