Job summary

NuvemRx is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician for our El Paso, TX site. This on-site role supports a Spanish-speaking patient population with accurate, compassionate pharmacy care while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, relevant certifications, and strong communication skills to assist patients, handle prescriptions, and maintain inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a pharmacy technician.
• CPhT certification required where state practice requires it.
• Knowledge of medication and dosage calculations, pharmacy law, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with serving patients and maintaining the pharmacy department.
• Prepare the pharmacy for opening and greet customers.
• Receive prescriptions, check validity, and process electronically.
• Sort, stock, label medications, and monitor inventory.
• Coordinate medication delivery with patients and couriers; handle insurance communications.
