The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication and customer service skills. Day and evening shifts are available with rotating weekly schedules and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Pass a language proficiency assessment before starting employment.
• Eligible for Texas Board of Pharmacy Technician-in-Training license.
• Complete required pharmacy training and demonstrate competency before performing designated duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to patients, families, and employees.
• Process cash, credit card, and employee badge payments accurately.
• Maintain cash register security and complete opening and closing procedures.
• Restock pharmacy supplies and maintain clean, organized medication storage and OTC sections.
• Monitor OTC inventory and request replenishments as needed.
• Deliver medications to patients and families on campus and at curbside.
• Prepare medication shipments for families.
• Answer phones and assist with clerical duties, including filing and reporting pharmacy activities.
• Assist pharmacists with additional technician duties after training and competency assessments.
• Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and standards of behavior.
