Qualifications

• Knowledge of prescription medications, insurance billing, and pharmacy operations is a plus.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a strong asset given the Bronx community.
• High school diploma required; degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between Belmont Health RX INC and healthcare providers, clinics, and patients.
• Promote pharmacy products, services, and programs to medical professionals and community partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff in the Bronx area.
• Educate providers and patients on available medications, specialty drugs, and pharmacy offerings.
• Process and coordinate prescription orders, prior authorizations, and medication inquiries.
• Monitor and follow up on accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Stay current on pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and industry regulations.
