Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring on behalf of its client for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead retail pharmacy operations in Miami, Florida.

The Pharmacist in Charge owns the day to day performance of the pharmacy, including the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, supervision of the pharmacy technician team, patient counseling, and full compliance with federal and Florida Board of Pharmacy requirements.

Qualifications

PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Working proficiency with a pharmacy Patient Management System.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare, verify, and dispense medications in compliance with regulations.
Serve as the pharmacist of record, ensuring licensure and regulatory compliance.
Lead, schedule, train, and supervise pharmacy technicians and staff.
Counsel patients in English and Spanish on usage and interactions.
Manage inventory, ordering, controlled substances, and cycle counts.
Operate the pharmacy system for prescription processing and records.
Oversee daily workflow and turnaround times to meet standards.
Coordinate with prescribers and payers on authorizations and billing issues.
