Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Bilingual Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead the day-to-day operations of a retail pharmacy. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of retail pharmacy management experience, is fluent in English and Spanish, and holds an active Florida Pharmacist license.

This full-time role oversees prescription processing, inventory, compliance, and supervision of pharmacy technicians, with a Monday-Friday schedule and a focus on patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Active Florida Pharmacist License required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish - required.
• 3-5 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
• Previous Pharmacist-in-Charge or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and management skills.
• Experience supervising and managing pharmacy technicians.
• Proficiency with pharmacy/patient management systems.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and process prescriptions ensuring legality and compliance.
• Prepare and dispense medications with correct dosages and procedures.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage medication inventory, stocking, labeling, and expiration monitoring.
• Maintain patient profiles and dispensing records.
• Provide patient counseling and medication information as appropriate.
• Lead and supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Schedule management and leave accommodations for staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, and federal/state/local laws.
• Utilize patient management systems effectively.
• Monitor operations to promote patient safety and quality service.
