Job summary

FNBT seeks a front-line teller in Irving, TX to deliver excellent customer service in a busy banking environment. You will handle cash transactions, process deposits and withdrawals, and present bank products to customers in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and balancing at end of shift.
• Clear, professional communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong customer service with ability to upsell bank services.
• Ability to follow bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships to offer bank products and services.
• Follow established bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• In-store prospecting in a sales environment.
• Process deposits and payouts accurately and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks; verify amounts and endorsements.
• Guard against counterfeit currency and verify IDs.
• Enter transactions and issue receipts.
• Sell money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base (Spanish/English).
• Perform other tasks as needed by supervisors.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
