Job summary

Youth For Tomorrow New Life Center in Bristow, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive health care and clinical leadership for residents. The role includes supervising care teams, coordinating services, and ensuring quality, HIPAA-compliant care within a licensed facility.

Responsibilities include clinical assessments, care coordination, lab testing, medication management, and weekend/on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Current active license in Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification.
Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) required.
Experience in adolescent/psychiatric and/or case management nursing preferred.
Proficient with electronic medical record systems.
Excellent social, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgement.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical assessments for residents' needs across physical, behavioral health, and social services.
Coordinate care with the member and health care team to identify high-risk cases.
Perform waived testing and manage lab data, ensuring quality control.
Draw blood and administer injections as needed.
Rotate weekends and participate in on-call duties as defined by policy.
Collaborate with nurse manager to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
Maintain medication management and train med techs as assigned.
