The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant (Health Care Tech I) or Licensed Practical Nurse (Health Care Tech III) for Sheridan Health Services in southwest Denver, CO. This 1.0 FTE, benefits-eligible role supports pediatrics, primary care, obstetrics, and behavioral health with cross-training across clinics.

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Must be willing and able to obtain BLS/CPR certification by date of hire.
• Must be willing and able to speak Spanish and English daily to communicate clinical terminology.
• Ability to work onsite and flex between pediatric clinics as staffing warrants.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and complete standard check-in procedures in person and remotely.
• Measure and document vital signs and notify providers of out-of-range values.
• Review and document the patient's health history and chief complaint in the EHR.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic wound care; administer immunizations as directed.
