Job summary

Mayflower Medical Group in Anaheim, CA is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a pediatric office. This full-time in-office role supports providers with administrative and clinical duties to deliver high-quality care to children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient phone messages and tasks; document accurately in EMR.
• Perform patient callbacks per provider instructions in a timely and professional manner.
• Room patients efficiently while maintaining clinic flow and schedule.
• Record patient history, care provided, treatments, and charges clearly in EMR.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and procedures.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of referrals and related paperwork.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam and patient care rooms.
• Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and PPE usage.
• Maintain current knowledge of medications, sterile techniques, and waste disposal.
• Keep CPR and required certifications up to date.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
