Pillar Health, a Division of Kenosha Community Health Center, is hiring a Bilingual Patient Access Representative I to work its Washington Road location. The PAR I will handle patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and insurance verification to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role emphasizes bilingual Spanish communication, HIPAA compliance, and coordination with nursing and administrative staff to support care delivery. Open clinic hours require flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months of related experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Prior experience with using an Electronic Health Record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients, including new registrations and updates in the EHR.
• Check-in/check-out processes, collect balances and payments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information, and coordinate with intake staff.
• Communicate with patients to arrange appointments and follow-ups.
• Assist with directing patients to wrap-around services and transportation when needed.
• Ensure accuracy of patient paperwork and maintain confidentiality.
