Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of software/system/equipment/PCs.
• Knowledge of function and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete full patient registration at date of service in line with standards and policies.
• Provide patient financial counseling, referrals, and compliant liability collection.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage and eligibility, obtain authorizations for hospital services.
• Analyze admission, discharge and transfer data and support Patient Access operations.
