O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and pick up returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged. Duties include handling payments on COD deliveries and maintaining vehicle and device security.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspect daily vehicle condition.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy; perform other duties as assigned.
• May assist customers, act as cashier, or help with merchandising as business dictates.
