Qualifications

• Driving record must meet the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and conduct daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fleet cards, handheld devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy and assist with cash handling or merchandising as needed.
