Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. The role requires attention to vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and secure handling of keys, fuel cards, and cash.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You may also assist customers at the counter, help with merchandising, and perform stock duties as business demands.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point system).
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries and capture customer signatures using fleet management hand-held devices.
• Keep vehicles clean and inspected daily; secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or incidents to store management.
• Clock in/out per company policy and assist with cashiering or merchandising as needed.
