Responsibilities include using handheld devices for deliveries, updating mileage, and securing all assets. You may assist customers at times as a cashier and support merchandising efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and conduct daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure the vehicle at day end.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands as needed.
• Possibly assist customers as cashier and support merchandising tasks.
