Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Baraboo, WI is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate company vehicles, delivering parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently. You will also collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained; complete daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs to store management and report vehicle issues promptly.
• Ensure fuel and vehicle security at end of day and clock in/out per policy.
• Assist with other duties such as stocking, merchandising, and cashier tasks as needed.
