Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. The role includes processing deliveries with handheld devices, collecting payments on COD orders, and returning items as required.

Responsibilities include keeping vehicles and equipment secure, performing daily inspections, and assisting with customer service, stocking, and merchandising as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any customer issues to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is full and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers, serve as cashier, and help with merchandising as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
