O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles for delivering parts and products to professional customers. The role includes handling COD deliveries, securing monies, and processing returns with handheld devices.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a valid state driver's license, with Spanish language ability viewed favorably to assist a diverse customer base. This is a hands-on, in-store delivery role requiring reliability.

Qualifications

• Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations; driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point system; possession of a legally required state driver’s license and meeting company driving eligibility requirements.
• Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts; ability to operate other light store equipment; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times; pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Assist customers and perform cashier duties, stocking, merchandising, and related duties as needed.
